From time to time, Vedic Gurukul takes photographs and videos of classroom activities, events, and celebrations for use in school records, communication with parents, and promotional materials such as our website and social media.
- By enrolling their child, parents consent to reasonable use of such photographs/videos for these purposes, unless they inform the school office in writing that they wish to opt out.
- Where a parent opts out, the school will take reasonable steps to exclude that child from photographs used publicly, though this cannot always be guaranteed in group/event settings.
- Photographs and videos are not used in any manner that could compromise a child's safety (e.g. published alongside identifying home address details).
Parents may contact the school office at any time to update their preference.
